CP Pool Summer Lunch Program
ProgramsPrinceton Children’s Fund, Inc. Princeton Recreation Department and Send Hunger Packing Princeton are partnering this summer to make it possible for as many as 175 Princeton Public School students to attend Princeton Recreation Departments’ summer camps. “Because of the generosity of our donors and our partnership with the Princeton Recreation Department, we are able to provide an opportunity for our students to attend camp and engage in active and creative programs, while giving their parents full-day childcare,” says Felicia Spitz of PCF. “The tangible results of this partnership are directly in line with the Recreation Department’s mission of providing fun and enriching recreational activities that are accessible to all Princeton families,” explained Ben Stentz, Executive Director of the Princeton Recreation Department.
SHuPPrinceton in conjunction with a grant from the United Way of Mercer County is “happy to be able to provide lunches to all of the PCF-sponsored students attending the Recreation summer camp programs, as well as feeding kids in the Jump Start program and at the Princeton Nursery School“ says Wendy Vasquez of SHuPPrinceton.
Send Hunger Packing Princeton and Princeton Children’s Fund are 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. The mission of SHuPPrinceton is to provide child-friendly supplemental food to families in food insecure homes in Princeton without any pre-qualifications.
